Appeal following shots fired, Zillmere

Police have released CCTV as part of ongoing investigations into an incident in Zillmere last December where shots were fired into a vehicle.

Shortly after 5pm on December 28 two cars arrived in Norbiton Street where the occupants of one vehicle fired five or six shots into the other.

There were two occupants in both vehicles, with one person fleeing on foot from the car fired upon towards Robinson Road. Both cars then sped away in the direction of Merrett Avenue.

The vehicles are described as a black Mazda station wagon and a black Toyota Landcruiser with attached roof rack and retractable shade sale. It is believed the Landcruiser was the vehicle shot at.

Anyone with information about the shooting, the vehicles or the identity of the occupants is urged to contact police.
