Serious assault, Morayfield

Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to an assault at Morayfield on Tuesday November 12.

Just before1.30pm, the 26-year-old woman was parking her car in a shopping centre car park, when she heard a group of teenagers hitting cars.

One of the teenagers approached the woman and yelled abuse at her.

The teenager then grabbed the woman and pushed her onto a parked car before he punched the woman in the face.

The group of teenagers then left the carpark.

The 26-year-old Morayfield woman received two fractured ribs and bruising.

The boy is described as approximately 15 to 16-years-old, wearing a black Nike cap, black Adidas t-shirt and black tracksuit pants with white stripes down the sides.

It is believed he has a scar on this bottom lip.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time or any motorist who may have had dash cam vision to contact police.
