Update 2: Homicide Investigation, Palm Island

Police investigating the suspicious death of a man on Palm Island on Thursday have now charged an 18-year-old Palm Island man with murder and robbery with violence whilst armed. 

Around 9am on November 11, a 64-year-old Palm Island man was located with a serious head injury at a Creek Road address. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 18-year-old man has been refused bail and is due to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on November 13.
